Rome Country Club offers a unique haven for any sports enthusiast. The complex entails an 18 hole championship golf course, driving range, short game facility, nautilus and free weight gym, three racquetball / wallyball courts, and a standardbred horse farm.
The facilities at Rome Country Club are truly second to none for a semi-private club in central New York. The clubhouse itself could keep you occupied forever. The first unique asset is the workout room. It consists of eight Nautilus machines and a bench that together work out every major muscle group in the body. In addition, free weights are available to fine tune some of the smaller and more particular areas of the body. Finally, the workout room also contains a treadmill to add a cardiovascular workout to your conventional muscle building regimen.
The racquetball facilities are also a unique twist to your traditional country club setting. Racquetball, generally speaking, is a fast paced version of squash. In essence, racquetball is to squash what baseball is to cricket. The three courts at Rome CC were added to the clubhouse in the early 1980s, giving central New Yorkers a wintertime sport.

The Men's Locker Room is also a highlight of the clubhouse. Surrounded by 25 large wooden lockers is an official length pool table. Recently professionally refurbished, this collector's table has played host to many intense matches. In addition, the shower area has just been remodeled during the '07 winter.

The Women's Locker Room was completely overhauled during the '07 winter. Gutted and rebuilt, the locker room is breathtaking. New, large wooden lockers were also added.

After your athletic endeavors, Rome Country Club is also a comfortable place to wind down. A beautiful bar and restaurant are the center pieces of the facility. A brand new 42 inch plasma high definition television was installed during the winter of '07. Complete with an LG 5.1 surround sound speaker system, the new look bar will surely become the place to be this summer.

The Rome CC clubhouse also has banquet facilities that cater comfortably to 110 guests. A brand new PA system and cordless microphone were recently added to insure a professional atmosphere. An 8 foot by 6 foot screen has also been installed for power point presentations, slide shows, DVD, and VHS presentations. Thus, the banquet hall is completely updated for today's technologies.

Don't worry, there's more! Rome CC's banquet facility also duals as a mini-theatre. Using our 8 foot by 6 foot screen and thumping sound system, you just hit the lights and Rome CC turns into a movie theatre. This setup is used nightly for big sporting events and for our famous "1st Tee Shots" DVD. The presentation is amazing!
